Create your Elastic Email account

For this example, we'll opt for the free plan (limited to 100 e-mails per day). However, the configuration process remains the same regardless of the plan chosen.

With a free account, you can only send e-mails to the address you used to register. To send e-mails to other recipients, you'll need to switch to a paid plan.

Once registration is complete and your e-mail address has been verified, you will be directed to the dashboard where you can start configuring your account.

Checking your domain

To protect both site owners and their visitors, it is necessary to authorize your domain by adding records to the configuration. DNS of your site. Today, domain verification has become a key element in guaranteeing good deliverability of e-mails.

From Email

Visit From Email is the e-mail address from which all e-mails from your site will be sent. This address must use the same domain name than the one you checked in Elastic Email.

In the settings, you can also check the option Force From Email. If you want to use the same sender address for the whole site, this option will save you having to change the e-mail settings in several places.

Visit From Name is, by default, defined with the name of your site. However, you can replace it with the text of your choice.

It is also possible to activate the Force From Name to apply this sender name to all e-mails sent from your site.

API key Elastic Email

Once Elastic Email selected as the delivery service, you must enter your API key.
To do this, return to the account settings section of your Elastic Email account, then, in the APIclick on Create additional API key.

On the next page, enter a descriptive name for your key in the field Name to easily identify its use later on.

Then, in the Permissionsselect the Plugin which provides the level of access required for integration with WPMasterToolKit.

Leave all other parameters at their default values.

A popup window will then open, displaying your API key. Remember to copy it by clicking on the Copy.

Then return to the WPMasterToolKit and glue the API key in the field API Key .

Send a test e-mail

Note: Before proceeding to this step, Elastic Email must have validated your DNS records. If changes to your DNS settings have not yet been propagated, you will need to perform this step at a later date.
