Create a SendPulse account

On this page, SendPulse invites you to create your free account in order to access its e-mail services.

There are two ways to get started:

These options let you quickly create an account using an existing one.

Alternatively, you can fill in the form manually:

Name Enter your name or company name.

Email address Enter the e-mail address that will be associated with your account SendPulse.

Phone number Select your country, then enter your phone number. This field is used for account verification.

Password Create a password of at least 8 characters to secure your access.

Once you have completed all the fields, click on the Sign Up to create your account.

After registration, you will be automatically redirected to the dashboard. SendPulse to continue configuring your service SMTP.

SendPulse e-mail address verification

After creating your account, SendPulse asks you to confirm your e-mail address in order to secure access to your space.

A message containing a confirmation code is automatically sent to the address you used when registering. Open this e-mail and copy the code provided.

In SendPulsefield, paste this code into the Code confirmationthen click on the Confirm to validate your address.

If you do not receive the code within 5 minutes, click on request a new code to request a new one.

Once the e-mail has been confirmed, your SendPulse will be activated and you can continue configuring your service SMTP.

Choosing how to use SendPulse

On first connection, SendPulse asks you which tools you'd like to use to adapt your space and its functionalities to your needs.

On this screen, several options are proposed (Email marketing, Chatbots, SMS, CRM, etc.).
To send emails from WordPress via SMTPyou must select the Transactional emails.

This option lets you send automated messages from a server SMTP or a APIwhich corresponds exactly to the e-mails sent by WordPress (forms, password resets, notifications, orders, etc.).

Estimated volume of transactional e-mails

SendPulse now asks you to indicate how many transactional e-mails you plan to send each month. This information enables us to adapt your sending plan and limits.

Three options are available:

  • 0 - 12 000
  • 12 000 - 100 000
  • Over 100,000

For most WordPress sites (contact forms, email notifications, order confirmations, password resets, etc.), the " 0 - 12 000 " is generally sufficient, especially for beginners.

Select the option best suited to your needs, then continue with the configuration to access the parameters SMTP.

Indicate SendPulse usage

SendPulse now asks you what you intend to use the platform for, in order to adapt some of your account options.

In the What do you plan to use SendPulse for? Choose the option that best suits your situation:

Add a Sending Domain

To improve the deliverability of your e-mails, you need to set up a sending domain in SendPulse.

From your dashboard SendPulse :

Click on Email in the main menu at the top of the page.

From the side menu, open Service Settings then click on Domain settings .

In the SENDING DOMAINSclick on the Activate .

This step allows you to add your own sending domain and activate the registration configuration. SPF and DKIMThese are essential to guarantee a good sender reputation and prevent your e-mails from being classified as spam.

Add your sending domain

A window opens to allow you to connect your domain to SendPulse.

In the Type domain hereenter the domain name from which your e-mails will be sent (for example : votresite.com).

Once you have entered the domain name, click on the Generate SPF and DKIM records.

SendPulse will then automatically generate DNS necessary (SPF and DKIM) to authenticate your domain and improve the deliverability of your e-mails.

Add DNS records (SPF and DKIM)

SendPulse now displays the records DNS which you need to add to your domain to authenticate it.

Two types of recordings are provided:

  • A recording DKIM (signature key)
  • A recording SPF (shipping authorization)

You need to copy these values and add them to the DNS zone from your hosting provider or domain manager, in the form of TXT.

⚠️ DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.

Once the recordings have been added and saved in your hosting panel, return to SendPulse and click on Check DNS records to check that everything is correctly configured.

When the verification is validated, your domain will be authorized to send e-mails via SendPulse.

Access SendPulse API keys

To connect SendPulse to WordPress, you'll need your API keys.

In your dashboard SendPulseclick on your avatar at the top right of the screen, then select Account settings in the menu.

You will be redirected to your account settings page, where you can retrieve your authentication information (API Key and Secret Key) required for configuration SMTP in WPMasterToolKit.

Recover API Key and Secret Key

In the Account settingsclick on the API at the top of the screen.

You will then see two important pieces of information: ID, Secret

Click on the copy icon next to each value to copy them, then save them.
These two keys will be used in WPMasterToolKit to connect your WordPress site to SendPulse and enable e-mails to be sent via SMTP.

If necessary, you can also click on Generate new API keys to generate new keys.

From Email

Visit From Email is the shipping address used for all e-mails sent by your site. It must belong to the domain you have validated in SendPulse.

For example, if you have authorized the example.comthe address used must contain this domain (such as contact@example.com).

By default, the From Name takes the name of your WordPress site, but you can freely customize it to display your company name or any other name you wish.

Configuring SendPulse in WPMasterToolKit

In your WordPress dashboard, open the module SMTP from WPMasterToolKitthen select SendPulse in the list of available suppliers.

Once SendPulse selected, the configuration form is displayed.

Fill in the fields as follows:

  • API Key → paste the value ID recovered from SendPulse
  • Secret Key → paste the value Secret recovered from SendPulse

In the Sender configdefine :

  • Sender Email → enter an e-mail address using the same domain as the one you validated in SendPulse (for example : contact@votresite.com)

Next, activate the Force the usage of the sender... by passing it over Active to impose this address as the sender for all e-mails sent from WordPress.

Once this information has been saved, your WordPress site is connected to SendPulse and ready to send e-mails via SMTP.

Send a test e-mail

Note MailerSend: your MailerSend domain must be validated before you can perform a test send.
