Setting up your Resend account

To get started, you'll need to create an account Resend (if you haven't already done so). To do so, go to Resend price list page and choose the plan that best suits your needs.

For our example, we'll use the free plan. However, the configuration process remains the same regardless of the plan chosen.

After registering and verifying your e-mail address, you will be redirected to the Resend account dashboardwhere you can start setting up your account.

Authorizing your domain

Before you can send e-mails with ResendYou need to add and verify your sending domain. This step confirms that you are the owner of the domain used and helps improve the deliverability of your mailings. e-mails.

Add your sending domain

To add a sending domain, log in to your account Resendthen go to "Domains from the left-hand side menu.

To add a new domain, click on the "+ Add domain .

In the window that appears, enter your domain name and select a region.

Checking your domain

Resend will provide you with recordings DNS which you'll need to add to your domain settings. These records include domain verification (DKIM) and the shipment configuration (SPF).

Once you've added the DNS records, you'll need to wait a few minutes for the changes to propagate. Note that in some cases, this can take up to 48 hours.

Once the records have been added to your DNS provider, return to the dashboard Resend and click on the "I've added the records.

If your recordings DNS are correctly propagated, you will see the status Verified appear next to your domain.

However, there's no need to wait for this step before continuing. You can go on to the next step while the verification is still in progress. Just make sure you keep this tab or window open, as we'll need it a little later.

Configuring WPMasterToolKit

Now that your account Resend is configured and your domain is verified, you can set up WPMasterToolKit to use Resend to send emails from your WordPress site.

Before starting this step, make sure you've installed and activated the WPMasterToolKit.

Once the plugin is installed, go to WPMasterToolKit " Settingsthen select the General to access the plugin settings page.

From Email

The field From Email is the address from which e-mails from your site will be sent. This must use the domain you've verified with Resend.

For example, if you have authorized the example.comaddress From Email must contain this domain.

If you want the From Email is the same for the entire site, activate the Force From Email. This option saves you having to modify e-mail settings one by one on your site, for example in other plugins.

By default, the From Name is the name of your site. However, you can modify it and add the text of your choice.

You can also activate the Force From Name to apply this name to all e-mails sent from the site.

API key Resend 

Select Resend. Next, a text field will appear, in which you must enter your Resend API key.

To create your key APIclick on the link API Keys .

You can also access this page from your account Resend by going to API Keys from the left-hand side menu.

Then click on the "+ Create API key .

In the window that appears, you'll be asked to enter a name to your key API. This name is for internal use only, so you can choose whatever you like.

Next, set the Permission on Full access . This allows the key API send e-mails and access other functions.

Note: The Full access is necessary to enable WPMasterToolKit monitor the deliverability of your e-mails.

If you wish to restrict the API key to a specific domain, you can select it from the drop-down menu. Domain. Otherwise, leave the option on All Domains .

When finished, click on the Add to create your API key.

This will generate a API for your account. Click on the copy icon to copy the key value API.

Important information: You won't be able to access this API key once you've left this page. Be sure to save it in a safe place in case you need to use it again.

After copying the API key, return to the WPMasterToolKit parameters.

Then paste the key you have just copied from Resend in the field API Key.

Send a test e-mail

Note: The verification of your Resend domain must be completed before you can send a test e-mail.

Once you've configured your settings, it's a good idea to send a test e-mail to make sure everything's working properly. To do this, go to WPMasterToolKit " Tools and select the Email Test.
