By default, WordPress uses the PHP function mail()<\/code>which is not always reliable and can easily be blocked by some hosts. To guarantee optimum deliverability, the use of an SMTP service is strongly recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this tutorial, we'll show you how to configure Zoho Mail<\/strong> as an SMTP server on your WordPress site using the WPMasterToolKit<\/strong>in order to secure the sending of your e-mails and improve their reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Zoho?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Zoho develops software for businesses and offers a variety of services, including e-mail hosting<\/strong> via Zoho Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E-mail providers check authentication before deciding whether your messages should be delivered to recipients' inboxes. Visit Zoho mailer<\/strong> from WPMasterToolKit improves deliverability by authenticating your e-mails. Specifically, it lets you use your Zoho e-mail address as the sender for all e-mails sent from your WordPress site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Create your Zoho Mail account<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To follow this tutorial, you need an e-mail address Zoho Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is important to note that the e-mail address you configure in Zoho will be used as the From Email<\/strong> for all e-mails sent from your WordPress site. If you don't want to use your Zoho address, you can check out other mailer options available in WPMasterToolKit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What's more, Zoho Mail does not support dynamic reply-to addresses.<\/strong>. For more details, see the FAQ section below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you already have a Zoho account, simply log in. Alternatively, you can create a new Zoho account, either staff<\/strong> or professional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Configure WPMasterToolKit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you haven't already done so, start by install and activate the WPMasterToolKit plugin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once the plugin is installed, go to WPMasterToolKit \" Settings<\/strong>then select the General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then scroll down the page to the Primary Connection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the following sections, we'll go into more detail about each of the parameters available on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From Email<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Top of the page Settings<\/strong>you will see an option From Email<\/strong>. You can skip this step, because Zoho force From Email to match your account's email address<\/strong>which you'll connect later in this tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once you've logged in, you'll notice that this field and the Force From Email<\/strong> will both be disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    By default, the From Name<\/strong> is the name of your site. You can, however, modify it and enter the text of your choice. Just bear in mind that this name will appear in all e-mails sent from your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Confirm account.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Click on Mail<\/strong>to start configuring your company messaging system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To strengthen the security of your Zoho account, you should link and verify your cell phone number<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This number will be used to protect your access (verification codes, account recovery, secure connections).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Enter your phone number<\/strong> \u2780<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Click on Send Code<\/strong> \u2781<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You will receive a SMS code<\/strong> to confirm that the number belongs to you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83d\udc49 Once the code has been validated, your Zoho account will be properly secured and you can continue with the configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    At this stage, you will create your Zoho Mail e-mail address<\/strong>.
    Two options are available, and here we use the ZohoMail address<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It's a ready-to-use address, ideal for getting started quickly without using a domain name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Select Create personal email account<\/strong> \u2780<\/strong><\/mark>enter your username<\/strong> \u2781<\/strong><\/mark> (this will be the beginning of your e-mail address), Click on Create<\/strong> \u2782<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Zoho will automatically create your mailbox as follows: votre_nom@zohomail.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83d\udc49 You can then access your mailbox, send and receive e-mails, and connect this address to other Zoho tools (CRM, Desk, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Access your Zoho API credentials<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In a new browser tab or window, log in to your Zoho account. Then go to the Zoho API console<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you are accessing the API for the first time, click on the Get Started<\/strong> for starters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have already created an application with Zoho, click on the + Add Client<\/strong>located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This action will open the Customer Type<\/strong> from Zoho. For this configuration, select Server-Based Applications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A list of parameters will then appear, including :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Customer Name<\/strong> \u2781<\/strong><\/mark> You can choose the name of your choice to differentiate your applications (in most cases, it's the name of your website).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Homepage URL<\/strong> \u2782<\/strong><\/mark> This is the URL of your site (for example : https:\/\/example.com<\/code>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Authorized Redirect URIs<\/strong> \u2783<\/strong><\/mark> You must copy this value from the Redirect URI<\/strong> in the WPMasterToolKit settings you left open earlier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      You will then be redirected to a page displaying your values. Customer ID<\/strong> \u2780<\/strong><\/mark> and Customer Secret<\/strong> \u2781<\/strong><\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Copy these two values into WPMasterToolKit's settings. Be sure to paste Customer ID<\/strong> \u2780<\/strong><\/mark> and Customer Secret<\/strong> \u2781<\/strong><\/mark> each in the corresponding field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Configure WPMasterToolKit settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Once you have configured your account Zoho<\/strong> completed, you need to finalize the integration between Zoho Mail <\/strong>and WPMasterToolKit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In the WPMasterToolKit<\/strong>section, complete the remaining information in the Zoho Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Region<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Zoho has several data centers distributed by region to store your information as close as possible to your location. When you create your account Zoho<\/strong>a data center is automatically selected according to your needs. IP address<\/strong> (you also had the option of modifying the region manually if necessary).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Zoho<\/strong> has data centers in the following regions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • US<\/strong> United States (zoho.com<\/code>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • EU<\/strong> European Union (zoho.eu<\/code>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • IN<\/strong> India (zoho.in<\/code>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • CN<\/strong> China (zoho.com.cn<\/code>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • AT<\/strong> Australia (zoho.com.au<\/code>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        If you don't know which data center is associated with your account, log in to your Zoho account and click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        A side panel will open, displaying various information about your account, including the location of your data center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        In the WPMasterToolKit<\/strong>select the region corresponding to the data center from the drop-down list Zoho<\/strong> used by your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Authorization<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Once all the above settings have been completed, click on the Save Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        A new button entitled Confirm Authorization<\/strong> will appear. Click on it to authorize WPMasterToolKit<\/strong> to access your account Zoho<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        At this stage, Zoho<\/strong> asks you to authorize the application WPMTK<\/strong> access your mailbox Zoho Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        This authorization is necessary to enable the connection and smooth operation between your WordPress site and your account. Zoho<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Send a test e-mail<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Once the Zoho Mail<\/strong> Once you've finished, you can send a test e-mail to check that the connection is working properly. To do this, go to WPMasterToolKit \" Tools<\/strong>then click on the Email Test<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
