However, connecting WordPress to Outlook can quickly become technical: creating an Azure application, OAuth configuration, login management, API permissions...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To simplify set-up, <strong>WPMasterToolKit<\/strong> integrates a <strong>native Outlook provider<\/strong> in its <strong>SMTP Mailer<\/strong>with a clear, secure approach that's fully integrated with WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this article, we will look at <strong>step by step<\/strong> how to configure Outlook with WPMasterToolKit, based on official Microsoft logic and best practices used by professional SMTP plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why use Outlook with WPMasterToolKit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Configuring Outlook as an SMTP sending service allows you to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guarantee excellent email deliverability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid emails blocked or classified as spam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use modern, secure authentication (OAuth 2.0)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No longer dependent on the PHP function <code data-no-auto-translation=\"\">mail()<\/code> your accommodation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With <strong>WPMasterToolKit<\/strong>this configuration is <strong>natively integrated<\/strong>with no external dependencies or craft configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a personal Outlook.com or Hotmail account, the SMTP server is smtp-mail.outlook.com, using port 587 and STARTTLS encryption. Modern OAuth2 authentication is required.<br>For a Microsoft 365 work email address, use smtp.office365.com, port 587, with STARTTLS. Depending on your organization's settings, SMTP authentication may need to be enabled for the specific mailbox.<br>The guide below explains how to configure OAuth for the Outlook provider in WPMasterToolKit. If you need to create a new account, click on this link to sign up for a new account. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/free\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">free Microsoft Azure account<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although creating an account is free, you will be asked to enter your credit card details when registering for a Microsoft account. This step helps prevent fraudulent registrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> you may be required to subscribe to the <strong>Pay-as-you-go<\/strong> before being able to create applications in the <strong>Azure portal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since you most likely already have a Microsoft email account (via Hotmail, Live, Outlook, Microsoft 365, etc.), you can simply <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.azure.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/portal.azure.com\/\">connect to Microsoft Azure<\/a> with your existing login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> the email address used for your Azure account must be a Microsoft address and have permission to send emails.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once your account has been created and verified, you will need to open the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.azure.com\/\">Azure Portal<\/a><\/strong> if you're not automatically redirected there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create an Application ID<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the <strong>Azure Portal<\/strong>enter <strong>App registrations<\/strong> in the search bar at the top of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"893\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmastertoolkit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-55.png\" alt=\"Search for \u00abapp registration\u00bb in the Microsoft Azure portal\" class=\"wp-image-5415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wpmastertoolkit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-55.png 893w, https:\/\/wpmastertoolkit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-55-300x197.png 300w, https:\/\/wpmastertoolkit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-55-768x503.png 768w, https:\/\/wpmastertoolkit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-55-18x12.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 893px) 100vw, 893px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, you'll see a drop-down menu displaying a list of services. You need to <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/free\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">register and verify your Azure account<\/a> to create and register an application.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the application registration form, here is the information you need to enter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong> This name is for your internal organization only.
